Jonathan Quinn Barnett is an American superyacht designer based in Seattle, Washington. After studying industrial design at the University of Cincinnati, he worked with car designer Tom Tjaarda in Italy and with Industrial Light & Magic. In 1987 he joined Jon Bannenberg's studio in London, where he spent nearly seven years and was lead designer on the 73 m Lürssen Coral Island.
He founded Jonathan Quinn Barnett Ltd (JQB Design) in 1995. The studio provides exterior and interior design for new builds and refits, along with custom furniture, hull and mast modifications, 3D visualisation, project management and pre-purchase design reviews.
